This bar is what me and my wife been seeking for a long time. So many bars claim to be the adult crowd but when you get there you see the same kids on the street. But the atmosphere at the Martini & Bubbles Bar was delightful for the mature crowd who just want to relax after a hard day at work without the drama of the young adult crowd who seem to stay in alot of trouble these days.

I've been to the Martini Kitchen & Bubble Bar on 3 occasions with mixed results.

First... the martinis are excellent and worth the price. I have to totally agree with a previous reviewer - PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY.

I've had both good and poor service, neither here nor there. However, it wasn't so bad that I didn't want to tip the wait staff.

Now... categorizing the establishment as UPSCALE, umm.... NOT. The restrooms were disgusting! Two (2) of the 4 were out of service and lighting a scented candle only mixed with the urine and vomit smell of those who did not drink responsibly. ewww

It also looks like I've been overcharged (paid with a credit card). I'm waiting for the charge to post, currently it's pending.

Having said all that... PLUNKY was worth it. I will continue to go there to hear him play, unless he change's venues. The vibe is upbeat, fun and the outfits of the overly confident worth the $10 to get in.

So I'll be going again, paying in CASH, and hoping the issues with the women's restroom are resolved.

I love going there , it has some of the best live music that one could hear. The Katz band is the best, just wish that they would play more songs. I service is wonderful, ( Anthony). More people need to come out and relax after a hard day, I bet you'll enjoy it.

There is a certain level of customer service that you expect from an establishment that charges $16.00 for a Martini and INCLUDES at least a 18% gratuity in the tab. If you're observant you'll notice that what is supposed to appear as 2 drinks is just 1 drink. They will hand you your shaker which includes the remaining contents of your drink. Pay close attention..this shaker is full with ice. So, in essence, you're not getting what you paid for...in more ways in one.

It's marketed as a high class, quality establishment but, even the atmosphere is far from that. The cover charge is totally unneccessary..just another way to rip you off. I didn't want to believe the negative things I had heard about this establishment but, because I couldn't stomach another dollar going to this establishment, I would highly recommend you spend your dollars somewhere with a much better track record.

I just loved the Martini Kitchen and Bubbles Bar. The wait staff was efficient, but not bothersome. I had the rack of lamb. Fantastic. We had to wait for the food a bit, but it was worth every minute. The veges had just enough crunch and the wild rice had all the flavor of a middle eastern kitchen. It tasted like real food, not some stuff that had been defrosted, nuked and dressed for presentation. The martinis left me feeling HAPPY!!!
I thoughly enjoyed the evening. The band members even came out and talked to the restaurant guests during a break. Just remember to drink responsibly because it would be easy to have one too many. It was one of the best evenings I had in Richmond all summer. Relaxed and casual, yet upscale and classy.
